The Bishop’s Lent Appeal this year is for money towards the Vale Silves Community Centre in Portugal.
Portugal is a beautiful country, yet has a lot of poverty. Currently it is being badly hit by storms and torrential rain. The proceeds of this Appeal will assist this particular community centre. You can find more information in the pdf attached. The pdf includes how to give directly to the appeal , but if you wish you can also give via our Charitable Association, in which case the gift is tax deductible.
