Report on the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025

This year, the AGM was held on Sunday 22 March. The turnout was good, although many of the newer members of our congregation were missing. We encourage all to attend this meeting, even if they cannot vote.

The meeting had a presentation on the financials, a copy of which can be download below. Overall the deficit was slightly less than budgeted due to some generous donations in 2025. We encourage all to review the financials and notes which can be downloaded on our Giving page and to review the presentation which especially highlights the difference all can make through their giving to the Church and the Charitable Association. The Budget 2026 can also be downloaded on the Giving page and shows that we will run a deficit in 2026 in both the Church and the Charitable Association. In total the budgeted deficit is CHF 30’401. We hope that more people will commit to pledging or increasing their giving in 2026.

The Synod representatives were voted upon, with Hector standing down after many years of service, and Donna joining Maxine as the new representative. The Church Wardens were re-elected unopposed. There were 8 names for the 6 places on council, and you can read who is currently on council here.

Helen gave her main report while the votes were being counted, and you can read it in the AGM booklet which can be downloaded below, along with many other reports on the activities in your church in 2025.
