Another successful gardening morning

Today seven of us met in the garden, with the main aim of cutting the hedges. Richard K and Michael A were the main cutters, wielding the machines from the shed with varying expertise. Vernon helped Michael by ensuring the electric cord was always out of cutting reach, whilst the rest of us swept and raked leaves both inside and outside the grounds (Sue, Helen, Myriam, Graeme and David). It was a lot of work, and all hands were needed.

We also did a fair bit of watering of the very parched earth and after 3 hours of work we could call it a day. It was hard work, but fun, and a great team building exercise.

This was the second gardening day this year, and there will be a third one in Autumn. If you would like to join us, check out the Gardening Team page on the website for more information.
