Archdeaconry Choir Festival
This year’s Archdeaconry Choir Festival will take place in Basel, Friday 4th – Sunday 6th September. It starts with an evening rehearsal on Friday, with further rehearsals on Saturday leading to Choral Evensong at 17:30, concluding with a Choral Eucharist at 10:00 on Sunday morning. The programme of music is in the attached document. It is a wonderful opportunity to work with a top professional choir director, this year Matthew Martin of Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge.
There will be groups from the choirs in Basel, Geneva and Zürich. Singers from all other chaplaincies are welcome to join in.

As you know, we try to sing a mix of traditional and modern hymns and songs at St Ursula’s. Occasionally, a small group has sung a choral introit or anthem. If you enjoy singing such choral music and would like to join a group singing from time to time, please do contact the Chaplain.
