Peter has sent a list of national days and is asking that the country concerned be included in the intercessory prayer. His instructions are as follows:
If the national day is on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, include it on the following Sunday. If it falls on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday then include it on the Sunday before.
e.g. 17 March 2011 was on a Thursday, so we would have prayed for Ireland on Sunday 20 March.
1 August was on a Monday in 2011, so we would have prayed for Switzerland on Sunday 31 July.
