It is so encouraging to meet with a good number of you online for Morning Prayer, 8am, Monday - Thursday during Lent. Everyone is welcome. Ask me for the Zoom link if you do not have it.

Green Lent
If you want to try to live more simply during Lent and find ways to positively engage more with creation and help to protect the environment, then you might be interested in these ideas from A Rocha (one of the charities we support at St Ursula's).

Farewell Service for Bishop David
Bishop David has served in this Diocese for 22 years. He is retiring at the end of this month and there will be a special online farewell service TODAY, Wednesday 28th February, 18:00 - 19:00. Everyone is welcome to join on Youtube. Here is a link with more information.

Spring Sale
Our Spring Sale is on Saturday 9th March, 10:00 - 14:00. There will be delicious home baked food and refreshments, our second-hand book stall, food stall, gift items, cards and more. If you can volunteer to help, please do let the office know.
The Sale is a Fundraiser event, but it is also a wonderful way to draw the community together and introduce new people to the church. Please do come along and bring your relatives, friends and neighbours.

House Groups
We now have good numbers of people who would like to join a house group and we plan to start with three groups: two groups in Bern, one on Tuesday evening and one on Thursday evening, and one in Thun on Thursday evening. I am sorry that we are not able to fulfil everyone's requests re days and times.

Please be patient as it will take time to choose and train leaders and for them to do their Safeguarding requirements. I will keep you updated when the house groups are ready to start. It is not too late to join a group if you would like to. More details and the form are attached.

Lent: a Springtime for our Life in Christ

'As the days lengthen and the earth spends longer in the light of day, grant that I may spend longer in the light of your presence, O Lord; and may those seeds of your Word, which have been long-buried within me, grow, like everything around us, into love for you and love for others. I pray that this Lent there may be a springtime for my life in Christ. Amen'
