Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

I want to say a very BIG THANK YOU to those who organised the Summer Fête last Saturday, to all those who helped on the book stall, food stall, and tombola, and to those who cooked a delicious lunch and baked cakes for the cake stall. Thank you, too, to those who provided activities for the children. All those who came to the Fête very much enjoyed it, though the numbers were down on previous years.

Praying for those to be Ordained in our Diocese
Please pray for those in our Diocese who will be ordained deacon in Brussels next Sunday, 29th June. Please also pray for those who will be priested in the coming weeks in the churches where they will serve. Both those to be ordained deacon and those to be ordained priest (including James) are currently on retreat. Please pray for God's rich blessing on them all as they prepare for their future ministry.

James Morgan's Ordination, 6th July
James will be ordained as a priest at St Ursula's on Sunday 6th July, at 10.30am, by Bishop Alison White.
NB please do note the change of time. This is so that there is time to run through everything with Bishop Alison before the service. There will be a bring and share lunch after the service. Please bring a savoury or sweet dish to share.
I do hope you will all come to this very special occasion. Please keep James and Lilian and all their family in your prayers.

Maggie Baumann
Some of you (especially in the Thun group) will have known Maggie well and will have been shocked by her death. Please do keep her husband Peter and her son Thierry in your prayers: praying for comfort and strength in their grief and shock, and courage to face the days to come.
Her funeral will be a private funeral for family and friends.

A Prayer for us All

Loving Father,
You are tender towards your children
and your mercy is over all your works.
Give us the wisdom and grace to use aright
 the time that is left to us here on earth,
to turn to Christ and to follow in his steps
 in the way that leads to everlasting life.
