Lectio Divina, meaning “Divine Reading,” is a traditional Christian practice of prayerfully reading and meditating on Scripture. A group of us meet weekly online and reflect on one of the readings for the following Sunday. During the meeting there are periods of silence for us to reflect personally on the passage and then an opportunity to share our thoughts at the end. Those who participate in this find it both strengthens and nourishes each one of us in our own faith and also deepens community as we learn from one another.
